Actually, they said that the beach is better at Chaweng. I chose Maenam over it because Maenam’s quieter (Chaweng’s the party capital, ala Boracay, I think). You went to Haad Rin, right? I only transited in Haad Rin on the way to Thong Nai Pan Noi from Samui. Were you there for the Full Moon?

Ooh, looks like I made a lucky choice with Ko Phangan instead of Ko Samui.

The room cost me 200B, and the beach was perfect. Say, PEx backpackers should do some sort of trip, I propose.

Thanks! I just realized that the old layout doesn’t load properly on IE

Anyway, I didn’t stay long in Moonhuts anyway, so the water condition really didn’t affect me. The best beach, they said, is Chaweng, which is also the most crowded, commercialized and the party center of the island. And thus, I ended up in Maenam hehe.

Ah, I wouldn’t mind the furry dogs; they look cute in your picture. Hopefully, they don’t bite.

Sounds like the moonhut’s a decent place to stay—probably fits my budget! However, I might mind the water not being clear. That’d be a minus, for sure!
