I ageree bkk is the best for shopping. HK is expensive! Bkk has most choices & very unique items. My family loves Bkk , shopping & good cheap food and a lot of nitty-gritty stuffs. But Bkk has good malls that carry local & internation brands, like Central & Zen. Another good thing about bkk, the decors & furnitures. Yes, hotel in Bkk is cheap compared to other Asian countries.North America, its Us dollar plus Taxes so its expensive, although they have very nice shops that are not in Asia.

The thing about traveling is that, once you're there, you hardly have cash left, so you gotta save, save, save! Hahahaha!

Hong Kong is grrrrrrreat. Legs are guaranteed to ache when shopping. :D I dunno about NY or LA. Too expensive, and they're mostly malls, especially in LA. But I guess I haven't explored the places all too well. :D

Ah, my parents have gone to HK a few times & brought back loads of stuff, so I can vouch for HK's shopping.

Talking to some people here, everyone tells me that Prague is one of the best places to pick up crystal, chandeliers, fur coats, & bags (knock-offs & authentic). Don't know firsthand, but will post about it, if I ever go. They say everything is a bargain there. ;)
