The Philippines through their eyes

I still can’t get enough of reading up on Thailand. As suggested by a friend, I visited Lonely Planet’s ThornTree Forums to get my daily Thailand fix.

Thailand is such a popular destination that it has its own category, and have as much posts as the two other South East Asia forums combined. I was reading through this forum when I came across a thread where a poster was asking whether to go to Thailand for the nth time, or go to the Philippines for the first time.

It saddens me to read what travellers from other countries have to say about my home. It hurts even more when I realize that I agree with some of their observations.

One Response to The Philippines through their eyes

Grah. That sucks. You know what, we were just talking about that the other day, and it makes me a bit guilty that certain negative observations about the Phils are true. -_- I guess it’s up to us to make it better? It sounds corny, but it has some truth to it…

Before you post...

I read all comments posted here, but sometimes I do not have the time nor energy to answer each one. I try to answer all the questions that have been posted, but if your question have been answered in the post or in the articles linked from the post, I will ignore you. So please read the post in its entirety before posting something. Once again, I reiterate that I am not affiliated with any hotel, embassy or company that have been featured in this blog unless otherwise stated. Also, posting your e-mail address and mobile number for the world to see? Bad idea.
