I wasn't able to do some of the more touristy stuff though, like the Opera House Tour (AU$23) or the Sydney Obervation Tower (AU$24) or try the Jet boat rides (AU$50+). The great thing though, is that a number of other touristy places like museums and galleries have relatively cheap admission tickets (free or less than AU$10). Suffice to say, Sydney is a very tourist friendly place for any budget! Oh, and if you're going, go during the first week of March. The Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras culminates to a parade on its last day (first Saturday of March), and it's really something worth watching, regardless of age or sexual preference ^_^ Isn’t it?
