We were so busy yesterday that I totally forgot to post about the Lonely Planet travel journal winner. gah
Congratulations Estan! Breaking that sacred ritual made you a winner. As the judges and I agree, it’s not a travel story unless you commit a cultural faux pax

Congratulations, estan, for turning a “cultural faux pas” into a prize-winning anecdote. And thanx for sharing: now maybe I won’t feel like I’m the only socially inept, culturally insensitive buffoon when I travel.
(I’ll still feel like a buffoon, because I am… but at least maybe I won’t feel so alone!)
