Wow, a month-long backpacking trip across Asia - it must've been a great experience! I did two weeks in Cambodia and Vietnam this April and it was already amazing...imagine a month of that! We wanted to go to Laos too but didn't have time. :( Maybe next year! And I'll definitely look at your budget post about your Laos trip for reference. :) Great site!
