Travel Expenses: Luang Prabang

This was quite an expensive leg of the trip, specially since I took the plane from Bangkok. Living expenses in Luang Prabang isn’t too expensive though.

1 This is quite an expensive flight, specially since I put off buying until I have to leave Manila. But I really wanted to fly direct to Luang Prabang, so I can just make my way down from there.
2 The price given to me was $7 per night for the room. Converted to kip, the owner priced it at 180,000 for three nights.
3 This is my only transportation expense, since I just walk around town
4 Strepsils. Can’t get enough of them.
5 Souvenirs include a keychain, a packet of Lao coffee and a scarf
6 Internet in Laos is 100 kip per minute

Before you post...

I read all comments posted here, but sometimes I do not have the time nor energy to answer each one. I try to answer all the questions that have been posted, but if your question have been answered in the post or in the articles linked from the post, I will ignore you. So please read the post in its entirety before posting something. Once again, I reiterate that I am not affiliated with any hotel, embassy or company that have been featured in this blog unless otherwise stated. Also, posting your e-mail address and mobile number for the world to see? Bad idea. TYPING IN ALL CAPS makes it seem as if you're SHOUTING.
