Palawan:
We just had our trip to Palawan last March. I recommend you to try out these restaurants: Kinabuch’s and Ka Lui’s. Before going to Ka Lui’s, please call them first since you need to reserve a table. As for Kinabuch’s, you should try their exotic food (the wood worm). The wood worm should not be eaten when you’re stomach is still empty. You should also try chao long (vietnamese soup) in one of the eateries there in Puerto Princesa.

One thing you may try doing in Puerto Princesa is firefly watching along Iwahig River after your city tour. Other activities that you may do here are: Honday Bay island hopping, Puerto Princessa Subterranean river cruise, dolphin watching, and a lot more.

If you’re buying pasalubong for your family and friends, ask the tricycle driver to take you to the tiangge where you could buy accessories with pearls, shirts, bags, and more. If you want something special, you can buy crinkles and hopia at Baker’s Hill.

Mall of Asia:
You may want to try bungee fun where you can jump on a trampoline for 3 minutes. At the bayside of Mall of Asia, you can also watch the sunset and take photos of it. If you like to watch a movie, there’s an IMAX theater in Mall of Asia.

Boracay:
If you’re a first-timer in Boracay, you should not miss island hopping and snorkeling. You should also enjoy the night life in Boracay. Also, you should not miss to have a group picture with the sand castles in the background.

Batangas:
When going to Batangas, you should eat special lomi and bulalo in one of the eateries there.

Davao:
I suggest that you try at eating at Lachi’s. You may also take home with you a box of sans rival. If you’re more fond of fruits, just go to the market and buy some pomelo and durian.

Baguio:
Make sure to take home with you Good Shepherd products such as peanut brittle, ube, and strawberry jam.

When in Cavite, try to eat in one of the carinderias in Mahogany Market. dont forget to order bulalo; tasty and inexpensive.

in Baguio, several elderly sell strawberries outside the ukay ukay area. their strawberries are delicious and not only is it cheaper but you also help them (i think they are tribes but am not sure which one). also, halfway to the Lourdes statue, there are several stalls that sell silver accessories.

dont forget to eat at Kinabutch in Puerto Prinsesa. loved their seafood. also, try their exotic food. buy your pasalubong in their market. very cheap compared to other souvenir shops.

When in Puerto Princessa, dining at Ka Lui is definitely a must-try. However, reservation is a must. Head to Divine Sweets after the sumptuous dinner at Ka Lui so you can try their coffee and desserts.

BORACAY TIP- there are absolutely so many places to stay in Boracay. You can definitely head for Boracay without any reservation. The price range airconditioned to fan rooms vary, but there are literally more than one hundred smaller inns in Boracay, so never fear, there will be space somewhere!

Palawan TIP- If you are craving for seafoods, go to Badjao Inn, Ka Lui, Lotus Garden and Kanabuchs. Don’t ever miss the chance to take the Underground River and Honda Bay tours!

Baguio: Ukay Ukay in Hilltop, back of Baguio City Market. They do not look they came from “ukay”. And you can find luxury brands too!

Davao: Do not miss Eden Nature Park and visit the famous Pagasa Phil Eagle! Buy fruits along the way coz they are cheaper than the Bangkerohan market. If you can’t stand on the real durian fruit, try at least the durian coffee in Blugre Coffee shop. Try the best sans rival (for me) in Lachi’s and see the whole Davao city at night in Jack’s ridge.

Palawan: cashew nuts are cheap at the market. Pwede pa tumawad.

In Mall of Asia, you can deposit luggage at the “Package Pick-up” point along Ocean Drive between the Main mall and Entertainment mall (they don’t accept luggage in the department store or supermarket anymore).
