[UPDATE October 13, 2015] Here’s a guide on how you can easily, quickly, and cheaply apply for an Australian tourist visa online
[Update: September 15, 2014] Philippine passport holders can now apply for an Australian tourist visa online through the IMMI website. Application fee must be paid via credit card. You can still apply in person through VFS.
I am not a visa officer, nor am I migration agent. I am in no way affiliated with the Australian Embassy Manila nor with the Australian government. This post comes from my experience with preparing and submitting visa applications for family members and for myself. Also note that this entry pertains to my experience in applying for an Australian tourist visa in April 2013. This is geared towards applicants who holds a Philippine passport, though the preparation can be applied for other nationalities as well. The Australian immigration update their forms every 3 months. I will try to answer your questions the best way that I can, but bear in mind that I can’t answer all your questions. If you ask a question I’ve already answered in the post, I will ignore you.
After almost seven years, I finally have an update to my now epic How to Apply for an Australian Tourist Visa series. I have written two posts on the topic, both garnering over a thousand comments, with one getting over 4,500! I have stopped replying to comments, since I don’t think I’m not the best person to be talking about it, as my knowledge of the visa process is largely obsolete, so the visitors have taken upon themselves to answer each other’s questions, with successful applicants coming back to share their good news and help others. It has become a mini forum of sorts and I have to admit I’m happy it turned out that way. I found it to be a great help when I took another chance to apply for an Australian tourist visa once more.
Before I get to the visa application process, here’s some background about me and my circumstances: I am a Philippine passport holder, and have applied and received a visa from Australia before. I have a valid US Visa, with used tourist visas to Canada, Japan, and Myanmar. I also have more than 70 arrival and departure stamps from various countries, and that’s just in one passport. I am single and have my own company registered with the DTI. I have a bank account and a couple of credit cards, and I have two sisters who live in Australia, one of which is a temporary resident and the other a citizen. My intention to visit was for a short break from life in Manila, and to hopefully visit places I missed during my first two trips to the Australia.
Step 1: Download and read the necessary pages, documents, and forms.
This is very important, I can’t stress that enough. It won’t do to just ask questions without reading these web pages and documents first, because you’ll look like an idiot. Majority of your questions would likely be answered by the information written in these files. All these are available for download at the Australian Immigration website, immi.gov.au, and they are all free.

There is no need to print all of those pages or forms (unless you prefer to read them off the computer), but the one thing you should print is the visa application form. It’s a fillable form, wherein you can type in your answers on the form itself and print it afterwards. If you use Adobe Reader to open it, it will not save the changes to the form, so fill it out only when you are ready to print and submit. However, if you’re using Foxit PDF Reader, it can save the changes to the form, so you can fill it out and edit it later on before printing.
Step 2: Gather the required documents
Page 15 of Form 1419, Part M is actually an application check list. The column on the left lists all the required documents, while the column on the right lists the additional documents you may submit.
Here are the documents I submitted:
- Certified true copy of the identity page and pages with visa stamps of my valid passport
- Recent passport photo taken within the last six months
- Visa application charge in manager’s or cashier’s check
The Australian embassy do not affix visa labels anymore, so there’s no need to send your passport when you apply, unless you specify that you want a visa label. I would have done this, but the label costs AU$70.
Step 3: Gather your supporting documents
Here are the supporting documents I submitted. Remember that this vary depending on your circumstance. You’re not required to submit all of these, but it is advised that you submit as much supporting documents as you can to prove that you can fund your trip to Australia, and that you have a strong reason to come back to the Philippines.
- Birth certificate printed on security paper
- Certified true copy of my DTI Registration
- Certified true copy of my BIR Registration (Form 2303)
- Certified true copy of my Income Tax Return (From 1701)
- Certified true copy of the invitation letter from my sister
- Certified true copy of my sister’s pay slip
- Certified true copy of my sister’s passport bio page and employee ID
- NBI Clearance
- Bank statement
- Credit card statement
- Itinerary
The Australian immigration require that all photocopied documents you submit are certified true copies. You can do this by going to the Notary Public.
If you look at the form, it doesn’t list the birth certificate as part of the documents needed. I included it anyway, since I have an extra copy. Also, when I called to have my document picked up, they mentioned something about the NSO and I asked if I still need to get another since I already have a SECPA copy. They said I can include my copy instead of getting a new one.

The NBI clearance isn’t really required either, but I included it since I have it anyway. I got it because it was required in the previous form, 48R. A medical isn’t required, but you may be required to get one if you are applying for a 6-month visa, or if you’re over 75 years old. The medical is only done through accredited clinics. From what I understand, you have to submit your application and use the reference code the embassy will give you when you go for your medical.
I also included a cover letter [Download sample of intent letter] explaining the purpose of my trip and that I wish to get a multiple-entry visa, since I want to make a side trip to New Zealand. This isn’t really necessary, since the form now asks for your trip’s purpose. You are also asked to provide an itinerary of your trip, though you are not required nor advised to make any bookings until your visa is approved.
Step 4: Buy a manager’s check for the visa fee
The visa fee is AU$115, which is Php 5,100, based on the conversion rate at the time. Please double check the fees and the conversion rate, as this can change anytime. I bought my manager’s check from BDO, since I have an account there. Based on the comments in the previous blog posts, there are banks that would not let you buy a manager’s check if you don’t have an account with them. Best to call and inquire with the banks in your area if they’ll let you buy a manager’s check from them even if you don’t have an account.
Step 5: Lodge your application

You don’t have to go to the embassy to submit your application. There are two ways to submit: you can either call the embassy hotline and have them pick up your documents or submit them in person at the VIA Center.
I opted to go with the call center, since it was summer and don’t want to be away for too long from my electric fan. Calling the hotline costs Php 32 per minute, not including the charges from your network provider, if you are calling from a mobile phone. My phone call took about 10 minutes (which included a long wait for them to finish a spiel, and another wait for an operator to be available), and cost me Php 339.29. If you’re going this route, listen closely at the start of the spiel, because there is an option to skip that and go directly to request for a pick up.
The courier fee for Metro Manila is Php 320, paid directly to the messenger who will pick up your documents. This fee covers both pick up and delivery after your application as been processed.
VIA Center have offices in Makati and Cebu.
Step 6: Wait for your visa
Visa processing takes about ten days all the way to 30 days. I called to have my documents picked up on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. It was almost 5pm when I called, and was told that they have already reached the quota for pick up the follwing day. My documents were picked up on Thursday, April 4. I received a text from the embassy that my documents were received on Monday, April 8.
By the third week of April, I was wondering what’s happening to my application. Someone who commented on my previous post said her application was received around the same time and she already has her visa. I started worrying when someone who submitted a week after I did said she already got her visa grant. That’s when I also found out that the embassy conducts phone interviews.
Apparently, they don’t do this to all applicants, only for those they feel they need to clarify certain answers to the application form. Worry changed to distress when I missed not one, but FOUR calls from the embassy. The first call was to our house phone, and my sister gave them my mobile number since I was out of the house. The first call to my mobile came while I was struggling to get off a packed LRT, so I had to cancel it. The next two came when the phone was in silent mode because I was at an event. You can just imagine how frantic I was.
I ended up calling the number, but it was the consulate’s trunkline number. I was told to just call the visa information number (845 9200). Because I do not know how to follow instructions, I called the hotline instead, and was told to send them an e-mail, which can be found on the immigration website. I sent an e-mail using the contact form there, and did not receive any response.
On May 7, just a day shy of one month since they received my documents, I called the hotline again, after getting no response or call from the embassy. The operator took pity and gave me a number to contact, which is the consulate hotline. I wasn’t able to talk to anybody, but I did get an e-mail address. I sent another e-mail, which again did not receive any response.
I finally got a text on May 14 that my documents have been dispatched to the courier for delivery. It did not mention if my visa was granted or not. My documents came the following day, and I was so relieved that my application was granted. It wasn’t a multiple entry visa, as I was hoping for. The visa was granted on May 10, and since it was a long weekend, it wasn’t dispatched until after election day.
Unlike before, the embassy not just issue visa grant letters for tourists. You need to bring this when you leave Manila, as the local immigration would ask for your visa before they stamp you out of the country. Also, instead of having a one-year validity, my Australian tourist visa is only valid until November 2013.

I received my visa grant notice today 4:45pm. They issued me a multiple visa for 3 months I lodged my application last Sept 11.. Ill be going to Oz tomorrow 🙂 sana ma grant din ung sainyo

Has anybody applied for a visitor visa online. I helped my mom apply for a visitor visa last october 5 and my parents are leaving on november 11. I hope she gets it on time because my dad already bought her tickets. Can I call the immi officers trunkline monday-thursday 2-4 pm eventhough I don’t know her immigration officer?
I applied online. As per conversation from immigration here in Australia processing time will usually take about 4-6 weeks. Even if you follow up there’s no way that they could expedite it for you unless for some medical or immediate cicumstances. Pray lang sis that decision will be made in 4 weeks time. Peak season na din kasi. My husband and my son’s visa was granted exactly on the 4th week. Hoping for the best for your Mom. For sure granted yan, its just a matter of time.

I was just paranoid that they might miss my mom’s application because there is no indication at all that they have looked at it. They just sent us an automated email. I’m just a but worried because we have basically paid for everything – the hotel and the flights. Yes, Im onshore and applied for my husband and son’s visa online. Requirements online is the same when you lodge it via vsf sis. Kung ano yung sinabi dito sa forum yun din inattach ko. Bale ang online kahit ang magfile onshore if the applicant is offshore dyan pa din sa Pilipinas irereview.

Hi! Question lang po. My husband, I, and our son applied for an australian tourist visa as a family. Si husband yung main applicant. Nilodge namin yung application last sept 11. We have received the decision yesterday. Sadly, my husband’s application was refused and kami ng son ko got our visa granted. Ano kayang pwedeng gawin para kung mag apply si husband mas malaki yung chance na maapprove din. Ang nakakapagtaka pa, lahat ng documents kay husband. Wala kasi ako work so ang pinass ko lang ay birth cert and marriage cert patoi yung passport bio page and copies ng stamps ng passport from previous travels which is 2 lang. Please help. Under what grounds at narefused si husband sis? If he is the main applicant dapat sya yung na approve. Nasa letter ng refusal notice yan. You can relodge provided may evidence or compliance ka need ifullfill para mameet yung gusto ng immigration. We cant give you advice as we dont know kung ano gusto ng immigration officer kay husband. Thank you sa reply! Sabi the documentation submitted has failed to demonstrate that the applicant has significant ties to the philippines. Nagsumbit naman siya ng itr, business permit, and proof of assets pati letter ng tita niya na australian citizen na si tita yung sasagot ng accomodation and other financial needs during the stay. Ano pa kayang pwede gawin? Ang purpose lang naman sana ng pagvisit namin don ay magtour and imeet na din yung father ko na nasa australia na for 6 years and pati yung tita and tito ni husband.
Ask your husband to make a letter stating na genuine intention nya to visit and that he cant afford not to go back home kasi may negosyo kayo and yun ang source of income ng family nyo. Tapos resend ng docs ulit. Relodged sis.

He can go ahead and apply. Single entry na lang muna iapply nya say 1 week lang spend nya na time dyan. How long ba plan nyo magstay? Yung bond sis baka mahal pero if amenable naman tita mo na magbigay ng bond you can go ahead and file. Okay lang naman kahit sya apply. Wala naman kaso kung kalalabas lang ng result. Supply nya lang ulit lahat ng required documents. Idagdag yung intent letter explaining yung purpose ng travel nya ganun. Ang kailangan lang nila dyan kasi is yung proof that he will go back home and i think tama naman ang rason na hindi nya puede basta iwan ang negosyo nyo kasi nga yun yung pangkabuhayan nyo.

Thank you so much sa info mga sis. Plan ko mag apply ng tourist visa pero magdeposit pa lang ako sa bank ko para maka obtain ako ng bank certificate. Masisilip ba nila iyon kasi kakalagay ko pa lang ng money pag ganun? May job naman ako, almost 6 yrs na ako sa work ko, kaso wala lang akong pera sa bank. Pero magkaka extra money na kasi ako. Wala akong sponsor. Plano ko mag bakasyon lang ng 1 week kasi di rin pwede mag leave ng matagal. Gusto ko sana by December maka visit sa Australia.. Help naman please..
I think makikita un sa bank statement mo, nagpa bank statement din kz ako nung nag lodge ako nakalagy dun ung mga date ng deposits and withdraw mo. Di ko lang alam kung aware sila sa mga kakaopen lng ng bank acct.

oo nga eh sis, unexpected na ganito kabilis dahil alam ko peak season pero very thankful kami ni fiance ko. mag book palang kami ng ticket this weekend but i am thinking of december 7. Dec 15 sana kaso mas mahal na ung flights by that time. i think nakatulong talaga na complete ang documents ko, very stable si fiance fiancially and may letter ako ng approved leave from my employer and stated duon na i should return ng start ng classes sa january.

The visa label is optional. Just bring the grant letter when you travel, so you can present it to the immigration officer when you travel from Manila.
Hi daniella! Visa label free na ang australia. makikita nila automatically sa computer pag nag check in ka kung may visa ka or wala.
You dont need a bank statement if yung sponsor mo sasagot lahat for your trip, maybe you can write a letter with your parents sign and ID’s na babalik ka after 3 months from Oz kz mag aaral ka.

Hi guys, may nagapply ba dito online? Naglodge ako 2 weeks ago. Ang hirap pala maghintay. Huhu. Ito ung mga inaattach ko sa aking online application: passport front and stamps, bank cert, business permit, birth cert, travel itinerary, passport-sized pic. Wala akong cover letter. Di ko alam kung bakit di ko naisip un pero di naman ata required. May kulang pa ba? Natatakot na ako 🙁 i haven’t heard from them
yes intent letter is necessary, if someone invited u/sponsored ur trip u need to have an invitation letter from them. NBI/police clearance(travel abroad). COE or COR if you are self-employed, property dox. Dox from your sponsor .passport, bank statement etc…the immig doesn’t necessarily require the applicant to send the itinerary/ticket. u can attach as many dox as u want on ur immiacct application.

better to get in touch with the company directly. walang direct hiring from Aus u need to register to a site for ur skills and work exp. mahigpit mga companies sa aus. bakit mo nmn sa friend mo ipapadala ung pera. sa embassy ka nmn mag aaply hindi sa knya. in my opinion that’s a scam.
Hi 🙂 question lang po. Since po na college student pa lang ako, ok lang po ba if bank statement po ng parents ko yung isubmit ko sa kanila? Wala po kasi akong bank account eh. Pero yung name ko po kasama na sa account ng mother ko. And ano po ba yung mga pwede pa isubmit as a student kasi po wala pa po ako nung mga namention nyo above. My application was denied and reason was very vague I already have a roundtrip flight ticket itinerary and all. Together with my friend both of us lodged our visas last October 10 was received by the embassy on October 13. My friends visa went out last October 24 and it was granted while mine came out this morning and it was denied. I have the same portfolio as my friend same company, i had bigger bank statements but he had more travel. I am employed etc, I also have 10 years Multiple visa for the US (3rd time renewal) and ive been all over. I do not see any reason for the case officer to deny my application. He said that I did not meet the criteria of a Subclass 600 like i might have more relatives in australia than here when i dont even have 1 relative. I did not include land titles and car titles as it wasnt required i just included bank cert and itr. I thought if theyw anted to see my ties they couldve requested for it as an additional document. I am really frustrated i guess my ticket will go to waste.
COs won’t/ don’t request for any additional dox if ur a TV applicant. iba iba sila kasi mag-assess ng application. as much as possible isubmit na lahat. ok lang sangkatutak ung papeles mo kesa mag kulang kasi may possibility na ma-deny ka. if family ties ung reason na di ka na grant baka naicip nila magwork ka while in OZ.”MIGHT” ung reason.basta kulang ng papers nag assume ung mga CO. u should have submitted all properties dox to show an evidence na babalik ka ng Phil. Property dox is also one of the requirements or proof na babalik ka ng pinas at pag wala nag-invite sau or sponsor. it’s in page 14 of the form for addt’l dox “other info to show that u have an incentive and authority to return……such as property…..” apply na lng uli…mention mo na din sa intent letter ung properties mo at sabhin mo wala ka relative sa OZ”
Yes deifnitely I was wrong but my friend did not put any titles and property as well but he was granted my flight is on November 6 midnight none rebook able. Sad :(.. I tried re applying last friday thru online despite i know there is a small chance of approval by wednesday. SInama ko na lahat this time SEC, DTI Land titles, car ownership, policies etc.. Thanks
un lang kasi iba-iba guidelines ng mga CO sayAng naman ung ticket. Try SG airlines u can rebook the ticket for 20dollars or ask for an open date of rebooking. btw, Aus immig doesn’t advise to submit itinerary or RT along with ur application. Purchase a RT once u have ur visa grant notice. Keep the faith and wish u luck!
Lodge my application for tourist visa today for me and my daughter via 2go pick up..i do hope that we will know the results soon and praying for a positive result..it is my second time already..excited to be back in oz again…
Question po ulit. Nakapagsubmit kasi kami ng original documents nung naglodge kami ng tourist visa application. Nung nareceive na namin yung result di kasama mga documents? Pano namin makukuha yung mga original documents na yun? Nagemail na kami sa immigration pero di naman nagrereply. Tinatawagan din namin sila pero kung hindi unavailable machine lang sumasagot. 3,6,12 months lng ung option ng extension. same form 1419 at depende pa sa assessment ng CO if bbigyan ka ng 6 or 12..minsan 3 mos lng binibigay nila but depende pa rin sa application mo. better to apply 6-12mos na lng.

Hi Joana! Thanks for the reply. Wala bang hiningi when you applied online? Ako kasi when I applied for an extension, I dropped it personally at the immig office. Lahat ng pinasa ko during my first application. Then the same day I got an e-mail from them asking me to take a chest x-ray. I think if ever naman na may gusto silang docs they will e-mail you and ask you to submit it 🙂 Wait ka lang, mabilis sila sumagot dito. Kaya lang natagalan result ng sakin kasi fully booked yung clinic na pinag xray han ko kaya I had to wait long. Goodluck and please update us! 🙂 Pray for it and claim it!;)

Hi! As I’ve said, mabilis naman sumagot immig dito. Natagalan lang saakin kasi 2 or 3weeks before ako naka book ng appointment for medical kasi fully booked. Pero after ko mag medical 6-7days after nag email na sila. Nasubmit mo na ba application mo? Kasi if ever, tawag ka sa immig and sabihin ko kailan mag expire visa mo, or automatic naman bibigyan ka nila ng bridging visa para legal stay ka pa rin if wala pa result application mo by the time na mag expire current visa mo 🙂

Hello Rube, I suggest na I apply mo nalang sya online, for me more easy and convenient sya, in my case I apply for extension atleast 3weeks before my current visa expire, actually I didn’t apply for multiple entry visa,they just grant it to me, probably it depend sa mga papers na I papass mo sa kanila, ako kc I pass everything they need, I suggest you to sent them you and your partner photo’s together, just to convince them na genuine ung relationship nyo, same form pa din ung I fill up mo, and as much as possible i pass mo lahat ng gusto nila, ako, i even pass my own bank statement, sure you’ll be alright, Godluck 😉

Hi Joana I’m sorry I’ve just read ur messages. if u want to lodge ur application online ang alam ko merong page na pwd I-attach ung mga kelanganin na dox. nag-try ako gumawa ng immi acct dati and I’ve checked the pages but I preferred to send my application thru post. Meron ba Reference number after u saved ur application online? or check ur email may auto reply nmn pag natanggap nila ung application. better ring the CS na lang kung san mo pwd send ung documents un kasi basis ng assessment nila. it usually takes 1 week max to hear any reply from the immig.

pag multiple entry visa, every 3months need ka mg exit din balik ka kung kailan mo gusto. no need for medical na.
ang maganda sa single entry Ching kasi pag ang tv mo no condition na 8503or no further stay, so pwd ka mg extend doon,less gastos na sa pamasahikasi pwd ka mg request ng 6months or 1yr. peru may mdical na.

hi guys, im going tp lodge my T V application this wednesday kc bukas pa ako makabuy ng managers check for australian embassy. I will attaching these documents are: my intent letter, certified true copy of my passport bio-pages, photocopy of nso birth cert., photocopy of enrollment form,certificate from my school,invitation letter from my boyfriend and stating he will fully support my stay in OZ, photocopy of my bf’s passport bio pages, my bf’s bank statement, proof of genuine relationship(pictures together,receipts, money transfer, skypes messages),my family pictures, nbi clearance, managers check, my passport size.

depende un sa case officer Ching kasi ako dati tv ko mg 8503 kaya di ako pwd mg extend doon.

Hello! I lodge my TV application last Nov 18, got it granted today Nov 27. Yes you need to do travel itinerary specify the imp dates of your travel. invitation letter is really important. if that’s the case that you are not sure if you will stay on a hotel or family or friend’s house, put that into your cover letter. put the name and place of the hotel you’re planning to stay to but dont book it yet. put also the address of ur friends house and family’s house and their billing adress (proof that nakatira sila doon) hehe. goodluck!! 🙂

Hi I got our visa grant notice last Nov19 2014. Tourist visa, family sponsored stream. Ang nakalagay sa visa must not arrive after Apr19 2015 and 1month stay upon arrival date.
Naguluhan lang ako. Ang intended travel dates kasi namin Apr1-30 2015.
If this is the case, pwede ba namin gawin yun? Kasi ang intindi ng mom ko on or before Apr19 dapat umalis na kami ng Australia.

Yup, it’s no problem if you fly out to Thailand first before going to Australia. No need to show the visa grant notice unless asked specifically by the immigration officer.

Hi Anjeanette? Talaga, kahit 5,000aud$ pwede mg apply how nice nmn, kase akala ko dapat sobra pa sa inakala yung laman ng bank account statement.. Takot tuloy akong maglodge baka kase dun pumalya sa bank statement. Sigh

I have a question. I am currently here in Australia and have extended my stay (5 months now, but will be a total of 9 months by the time my ‘second/extended’ visa expires. ) My new visa doesn’t have a “No Further Stay” condition so my partner and I are thinking of applying for an extension again. We are looking at applying for a 12-month extension this time. Do you think going for a visa run before we apply will increase my chances of getting extended again? I believe the maximum stay is 12 months from the date you got in Australia, that’s why I thought of leaving for a couple of days and then come back before we apply for another extension. ( I currently have a multiple entry visa). Thank you! I hope you can help me or give me your opinion on this. 🙂 and if anyone is or was in a similar situation, HELP! Hahaha! Thank you guys! X

Hi Huge! It doesnt matter how much ang laman ng bank. As long as the sponsor has a stable job and you can present payslips, cert of employment, income tax return and you can show your intention of returning back to pinas, approved ang visa mo ????
Hello huge. I already have my tourist visa granted. My bf who will sponsor me in Australia doesn’t have a job when we applied for the visa. He also doesn’t have properties and tenancy agreement, he just said in the letter that he is living with his friend’s house. We just presented his
“Bank account” certificate, means kung magkano lang laman ng bank niya. It doesn’t include his monthly statements. Hope this will help you.

To Anjeanette, talaga ng rent lang siya in a flat, so pwede sabihin yun sa letter? Dami kase ngsabi dapat may exact amount daw needed ang embassy to show kaya hesitant ako baka ma deny, I want to gather all details and info;s na dapat kong gawin para smooth ang lahat, nakakakaba kase lalo na pag di ka sure, mas mabuti yung magtanong para malaman kng ano ang dapat gawin.. On your part: pinaka importante ang intent letter mo dont forget that and kung ano pa puwede mo maiprovide to prove na you will return sa pinas. Mine does not have 8503 condition. Good luck sa pagfile! ????
Yung boyfriend ko nakikitira lang sa bahay ng friend niya sa Australia, wala silang agreement na he is paying his friend so hindi kami nagpakita ng tenancy agreement. He just clearly stated in his invitation letter na “I am currenly living at my friend’s house (see my attached proof of phone billing address). Bale yung phone bills niya na nakapangalan sa kanya buy nakaaddress sa bahay ng friend niya un ung proof namin na nakikitira siya sa bahay ng friend niya. and if your bf is renting a place lang, write it in the letter and give a proof na he is renting doon. 🙂 And wala akong 8503 so I think pwede daw ako mag extend ng stay but I wouldn’t do that for now kasi I have career here in Phils hihi oo nakakakaba talaga mag apply!! But goodluck just pray. Be honest in your letter and be sure lahat ng sasabihin mo sa letter may attached proof yun lang naman siguro approve na yan, may work nga bf mo eh ako wala. Anyways siguro dapat maka 5,000aud$ minimum ang bank account ng bf mo to sponsor your stay, (I juust read the comments above here)

Kala ko kase 40,000AUD need sa bank account na dapat nka state para sa sponsorship! So pwede ko lng ipakita yung phone bills nya? Thank you
Hello Chyn, yup! Phone bills and kahit anong mga proof of billing address niya. Ung payslip nya may address b ng tinitirhan niya isama nio un. My bf has only 30,000aud$ and doesnt have any work but still naapprove yung visa ko, what do you mean by kahit wala ng letter?
Hello sis Anjeanette and BelleS, actually same yung problem ko with others.. Uhmmm, sure ba tlga na kahit walang properties eh okay lng kumuha ng visa? May work nmn tapos ng rerenta lng, yung car nya kase binenta nya way back kaya no properties to show… baka kase ma deny ako kahit may work siya eh baka kulangin yung sa bank statement, pero regular and stable nmn niya na job yun… some say kase dapay may bank limit na ganitong account, pero may idea kayo if magkano tlga need ng embassy to show them na kaya akong iprovide ng sponsor ko dun? I am new at this site tapos first timer din sa pag apply ng visa, I hope you’ll help me. Thank you =)

When I applied for a visitor visa all we provided were his passport biopage, IDs (driver’s license, medicare), payslips for 3 mos, tax return 3 mos, tenancy agreement, bank statement 3 mos latest ha and invitation letter that’s it. May work ako kaya siguro isang factor na rin yun. But I guess gawin mo lang convincing ang intent letter mo and show proof na babalik ka ng pinas like your connection mo sa family etc 🙂

Hello! Re: bank account, it doesnt matter how much ang laman basta existing and current yung account niya. Yung prinesent namin na bank statements konti lang laman. We provided 3 mos bank statements yung isang month nga wala pang $1000. As long as may stable job, he can provide for your needs as well your accomodation, that will do. Pero take note, dapat malakas ang evidence mo to prove na babalik ka ng pinas once your visa expires. Good luck! am here in Canberra by the way. My visitor visa was granted four days after lodgement.

I dont think importante yung properties.. Na -approved yung visa ko we didnt show any properties na nakapangalan sakanya, kahit ung 2 kotse ng bf ko hindi namin sinabi.. ung tenant naman, if you have read my comments above, kung may payslip ang bf mo, phone bills, credit card, letters from the bank..,telstra or any billing address na naka name sakanya with the adress ok na yon. Ung bf ko doesnt have any tenancy agreement we just provided his phone bills na naka name at naka address sa tinitirhan niya.
