  • Updates coming soon

I’ve left Thailand yesterday, after ten days. I’m now at my brother’s house in Singapore, trying to get in the mood to start writing the many entries and articles I need to post online and submit. Meh. Maybe tomorrow. More pictures posted at my flickr.

  • I have no life

Damnit, why am I online again? They shouldn’t Internet cafes in every corner *grumble* It’s drizzling outside, so I ducked in this one building to get out of the rain. There’s an Internet Cafe so might as well go online. I like this computer though… they have Opera! Yay! The computers also have this coin…

  • I’m alive!

Fourteen hours, two plane rides, two bus rides and a walk in the rain. I’m still alive, and somehow managed to survive. Whee! I kept on dozing on the plane to Bangkok that I never even took ONE picture. Wow. I’m feeling kinda woozy, probably the result of not eating or drinking much. Must rest…

  • Checking in

Blogging from Singapore’s new budget terminal. Doesn’t look budget to me. I like. The weather has cooperated so far; sunny and cloudy skies with no rain. I hope it holds out until I reach Bangkok. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to check where my boarding gate is.

  • Pack Me

I *think* I have everything I’d need for a 10-day trip. Somehow, I was able to accept the fact that I can only bring 3 shirts. Then again, I cheated and bought one big shirt for a cover up, which I can also use for going around the city and two tank tops. I’ve also…

  • Holy crap it’s Tuesday!

Which means it’s already the 17th tomorrow. I’m leaving tomorrow! It seems that the rainy season is upon us. *sigh* Forecasts shows that Manila, Bangkok and Ko Samui can expect some thunderstorms in the next 5 days. *gloom* I guess I’ll be packing an umbrella. On a lighter note, at least I’ll be able to…

  • Music is my life

Not that I’m a musician (can’t play any instrument, sings off key, don’t even ask about dancing), but music is important to me. It has the power to affect my moods and cheer me up when my friends are not around. When I started planning for this trip, I never considered buying an MP3 player.…

  • The Philippines through their eyes

I still can’t get enough of reading up on Thailand. As suggested by a friend, I visited Lonely Planet’s ThornTree Forums to get my daily Thailand fix. Thailand is such a popular destination that it has its own category, and have as much posts as the two other South East Asia forums combined. I was…

  • Oh pack it!

Eversince I came up with this fabulous idea of backpacking in Thailand, I have been researching like crazy, looking for the best deals, the must-see places and most important of all, how to fit everything in my backpack. It’s easy to pack for three days and still be able to close your backpack. For trip…
