Updates coming soon

Thong Nai Pan Noi, Ko Pha Ngan

I’ve left Thailand yesterday, after ten days. I’m now at my brother’s house in Singapore, trying to get in the mood to start writing the many entries and articles I need to post online and submit. Meh. Maybe tomorrow. More pictures posted at my flickr.

I have no life

Posted by nina under Thailand, Travels, Word Vomit

Damnit, why am I online again? They shouldn’t Internet cafes in every corner *grumble*

It’s drizzling outside, so I ducked in this one building to get out of the rain. There’s an Internet Cafe so might as well go online. I like this computer though… they have Opera! Yay! The computers also have this coin thingie beside it. Fifteen minutes for 10 pp_sneert. Not bad.

So far, I’ve ridden the BTS, ridden 3 ferries along the Chao Phraya, wandered around until I got lost, but I still managed to find the travel agent’s office. I rule. Nyahahahaha. Yet, I’m still in front of — CRAP! My botter water spilled on my seat >_< The seat of my pants is wet. At least my pants are a bit water resistant. I should be dry in a couple of minutes. I hope. –
the computer. *sigh*

This water bottle is giving me tons of trouble. I also spilled water in the travel agent’s office earlier. I dropped the cap on the floor and when I bent down to get it, out comes the water. Go me.

After my 2nd 15-minute Internet, I’m going to continue searching for the elusive Tha Pra Ahtit pier and maybe head on to Wat Po. Or maybe to the mall. Hmmm.

I’m alive!

Posted by nina under Thailand, Travels, Word Vomit

Fourteen hours, two plane rides, two bus rides and a walk in the rain. I’m still alive, and somehow managed to survive. Whee!

I kept on dozing on the plane to Bangkok that I never even took ONE picture. Wow. I’m feeling kinda woozy, probably the result of not eating or drinking much.

Must rest now, long day tomorrow.

Checking in

Posted by nina under Travels, Word Vomit

Blogging from Singapore’s new budget terminal. Doesn’t look budget to me. I like.

The weather has cooperated so far; sunny and cloudy skies with no rain. I hope it holds out until I reach Bangkok.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to check where my boarding gate is.

Pack Me

Posted by nina under Packing List, Preparation

I *think* I have everything I’d need for a 10-day trip. Somehow, I was able to accept the fact that I can only bring 3 shirts. Then again, I cheated and bought one big shirt for a cover up, which I can also use for going around the city and two tank tops.

I’ve also managed to fit in a duffel bag inside my backpack. Hey, I plan on doing some Christmas shopping in Bangkok; having an extra bag is necessary. Also, with this extra bag, I can leave it in my hostel in Bankok with my city clothes inside. That way, I won’t have to lug everything in my backpack when I go to the islands, and I have clean clothes on my return.

These are the contents my backpack. I’ll update this when I get back and comment on how each item fared.
