Why is the sky green?

Can asking questions change the world? The people behind dropping knowledge thinks so.

In a world of complexity and contradiction, apathy has become a sort of survival technique. How could you face the evening news without it? Another famine, another flood, another terrorist attack - if we truly identified with the pain and suffering of others, it would paralyze us. And so our apathy extends not only to those on the other side of the world but to our families, friends, neighbors, selves.

When was the last time you questioned the way things are?
The last time you refused to accept the unacceptable?
The last time you turned your apathy into activity?

Ask yourself.

  1. Amanda Said,

Gathp! You beat me to it! I was going to blog about this too but I put it off. *swears* Bleh. Maybe I still will. Rawr.

It’s a great idea. The last time I was there, there as a clip of a woman asking if it was possible to leave religion behind and retain the faith (since, she said, religion is what divides us). It was beautifully said. =)

  2. nina Said,

Oh, that’s a great question! I love the questions that was already asked. Really though provoking. It’d be great to take a question from the site and answer it in your own blog, when you’re feeling profound and have nothing else to write about pp_lol. But yeah. Great idea.

  3. Amanda Said,

    Hey, that’s actually a great idea…

  4. nina Said,

Heh, thanks. I leave the writing to you, because I am too lazy to be profound pp_depressed

  5. bchai Said,

    This is MY question:

When you eat corn, why does it always show up in your poop?

  6. nina Said,

    !!!!

I wonder about that myself. pp_lol It’s the same with malunggay pp_smile)

Nina Fuentes | Lovin' ManilaNina, going through quarterlife crisis, decided to stop talking about traveling and actually start traveling. Starting with a solo weekend trip to Cebu to a backpacking trip in Thailand and Singapore, she finally made it out of Asia and into Australia. After spending close to six months down under, she's happily settled in Manila (for now), intent to explore the best things the Philippines has to offer.
