Would you use these high tech luggage?

ForbesTraveler just came out with their hi-tech luggage slideshow, showcasing, well, 10 hi-tech luggage. Some are pretty nice, some are boring, others are just plain weird.

Samsonite X’Lite Range

Samsonite’s X’Lite Range
This one is a beauty. It may not look it, but it’s a hard-shell case. According to the site, it’s 2/3rd thinner than the regular hard cases, which means it’s lighter, more flexibe and surprisingly, stronger.

Fido luggage

Will follow your around like a dog. That’s what they say anyway. Can you just imaging people gaping when they see this baby following you around the airport?

Self-weighing luggage

Ah, this is something I, and all the other over-packers will appreciate. Now if only it comes in a different color…

Transforming suitcases

This one is just calls for one big “WTF??” According to the site, it “doubles as a chair for resting in the check-in line, another resembles a chest of drawers, and an attaché-shaped case opens up to serve as a fluorescent light.”

Right.

  1. Anna Said,

Pfft. I don’t need a seat-like bag. I already actually sit on my [hard-case] luggage in the check-in line, and it doesn’t have to look that hideous!

    =D

  2. andianka Said,

i’ll stick with the usual common type luggages for now. the high tech ones looks a bit silly…

anyway, got your site from the mailing list and doesn’t know where to place my reaction about this site.

im amazed… you’ve been everywhere and was wondering how you manage to do it… i love travelling. i just don’t don’t have the means. pp_cheerful
