Are you ready for some more Girl Power? All five Spice Girls appeared in public together for the first time in six years today as they announced an 11-date, eight-country world tour.
The tour will take in the USA, Britain, Germany, Spain, China, Australia, South Africa and Argentina. To register for tickets go to www.thespicegirls.com.
Straddling Christmas, the tour will begin in Posh Spice Victoria Beckham’s new home Los Angeles on December 7, before visiting Las Vegas, New York City, London, Cologne, Madrid, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sydney, Cape Town and Buenos Aires.

Cebu Pacific (CEB) will start direct flights from Manila to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xiamen and Macau this September and October with seat sale fares that are 85% lower than those currently available for these routes.
One-way fares exclusive of surcharges and government tax are pegged at P888 for Manila-Guangzhou, Manila-Xiamen, Manila-Macau, and P1,888 for Manila-Shanghai. This seat sale will run from June 28 to July 4, 2007 and is good for travel until December 15, 2007.
CEB’s daily service to Shanghai and Xiamen will begin September 12 and 26, respectively. The four times weekly flights to Guangzhou will start on October 10, while the thrice-weekly Macau service will start on October 11.
After its seat sale, CEB’s lowest ‘Go’ fare to Macau, Xiamen, and Guangzhou is P1,999 one-way — a reduction of as much as 70% from the existing lowest year round fare to these destinations. CEB’s ‘Go’ fares to Shanghai starts at P2,999 one-way — almost 76% lower than the current applicable lowest year round fare. Fares are exclusive of applicable taxes and surcharges.
Graaaaaaaaaaaah! Cebu Pacific’s really driving me crazy! Then again, this is the perfect motivation to pursue my 2008 Asian tour haha.

FLORENCE, Italy - Visitors to the Bargello museum in Florence will be able to see restorers at work removing centuries of dirt from Donatello’s “David” starting Tuesday, officials said.
The 15th-century bronze nude is being restored for the first time, said museum director Beatrice Paolozzi Strozzi. New techniques including lasers will allow restorers to remove encrusted dirt and grime from the 5.18-feet masterpiece while keeping it in its place in the museum.
