Are you Boracay bound next year?

Two good news for [tag]Boracay[/tag] bound passengers next year!

First, [tag]South East Asian Airlines[/tag] is doing a Cebu Pacific, and offering a seat sale on their 11th anniversary.

Patrick Tan, vice president for commercial affairs, said, “To celebrate our 11th birthday, we will slash fares from P2,070 to about P540.”

The amounts do not include regular surcharges and tax.

The seat sale runs from Dec. 15 to Dec. 26. The travel period is from Jan. 1 to March 31, 2007.

Second news, [tag]Asian Spirit[/tag] is now offering direct flights from Seoul, South Korea to Kalibo, Aklan.

KALIBO, Aklan: This Ati-atihan town is getting closer to South Korea. An airline is set to make its first international flight from Seoul via Kalibo domestic airport next year, said Cong. Florencio Miraflores.

The airport is ready to cater to international flights mostly from Korea, China and Taiwan once the Asian Spirit flies here to bring more tourists, Miraflores said.

“The airport passenger terminal will be expanded with a budget of P50 million in 2007 to service tourists going to Boracay and other ecotourism spots of the province,” he revealed over DyRU Super Radyo Kalibo.

Seems like everybody’s Boracay bound next year. I just hope they don’t totally destroy this beautiful island :-/

WOW. I’m assuming you’ve got your tickets? 😉

    South Korea = cheap shopping!

Really? Shopping is good in South Korea? I didn’t know that.

The direct flight from Kalibo to Seoul would definitely boost the Boracay tourism. Last time I went to Boracay, there were already quite a number of Korean tourists about.

As for my return trip to Boracay… nah, not anytime soon. I’m actually letting all these seat sales pass because of my current state of broken-ness. If that’s a word, hahahaha. Plus, there’s a load of other islands I haven’t been to yet, must try those first 😉

Pssst. Where do you get your travel news again? I’m on the lookout for bargain seats in case we want to head to a beach during the summer. ^_^

Believe it or not, I mostly stumble upon these things 😉

My main news source are actually forums. I stalk PEX and FemaleNetwork.com’s Girltalk’s travel forums.

You may also want to subscribe to Cebu Pacific’s mailing list, but most of the time, I read about it first in the forums before I receive their email. Oh, and check their ads in the papers.

Where do you plan to go? Try Bohol ^_^
