First to happen this week was the formal launch of the Blog and Soul Movement, and of the Mrs. Fields Cookie Cafe at the Manila Pavillion last August 21.
Franchise owners Gerwyn and Sheryl See is relaunching the brand in Manila, aiming to attract the coffee shop crowd and bloggers with their cafe’s homey ambiance and free wi-fi. It doesn’t hurt that the cookies are great 😉 I heard that their coffee are pretty good as well. Hmm, will I be saying sayonara to Starbucks anytime soon? I think so!
“If you blog it, they will come”
The Blog and Soul Movement aims to “establish blogging as a relevant part of Philippine media” by bloggers and organizations closer through events that are usually just reserved for the “traditional media.” If you’re interested in the movement and want to donate your skills, Jayvee is looking for volunteers.
