Ugh, that’s one trip I don’t want to go through again. I’ve been with my beloved computer, an IBM Netvista since 2002. It’s been good to me throughout the years, but last Saturday, something overloaded my AVR, busting its fuse.
Three AVRs and 5 busted fuses later, I thought I finally figured out the problem. Unfortunately, I was wrong and blew another AVR fuse AND zapped my computer’s power supply. It wasn’t the end of the world, I was told. Just buy and replace the power supply.
So that’s what I did Monday morning. Naturally, I ended up with a standard-sized power supply that was too big for my CPU tower. *insert smiley banging head on wall here*
Luckily, my brother left his computer here when he migrated. I don’t really like using his computer, but I guess I can learn to like it. Not that I have any choice bah
