My friend Wei commented on my plan for world domination entry, and suggested I try MyFlightMemory.com.
I signed up, and though I have only taken a small number of trips, I was surprised to see how many miles and flying hours I’ve consumed.
I actually enjoyed trying to remember the dates I traveled, and the memories of those trips. Like the mountain of luggage my sister and I took on our flight back to Manila from Jakarta, that trip to Boracay aboard Seair’s small plane which was a bitch to the ears, and the business class ride I had on my last flight from Singapore.
When I look at this map, it reminds me of how much I haven’t seen yet. I guess that’s motivation enough, no?
My flight memory page is at http://my.flightmemory.com/evilmartian. What’s yours?
