Good job with the rubber ducky dry bags. Notice that even if the Philippines is a tropical country, it experiences A LOT (and I say, A LOT) of rainy days; hence, the importance of the dry bag. And yep, safe for boat rides. Wouldn’t have to worry about our cellphones getting wet. 🙂

Have you seen the drybags being sold at Sandugo? Its around half the price of the Ducks, but I’m not sure if the quality is at par with it.

How’s the quality of the Rubber Duckie dry bag po ba? I’m a bit iffy with those at Sandugo kasi

In reply to Denise. Nah, I'm just high maintenance hahahahaha. You can buy what you can in Europe before heading out to Asia, but the prices here are sometimes more friendly on the wallet. Don't go out hoarding everything yet, because you can surely get these items here if you find a need for them :)

being the simple traveler…camera,one good book,mp3 player,a pair of havs, medicines,rosary (this wud never go wrong^_^) and moneyyyy…haha…

good list of stuff here, the dry bag is a must…but how much is that rubber ducky? is it expensive?

In reply to BPS. The original Joby Gorillapod has very tight joints; you need some effort to bend the legs. The fake one though is very pliable and the rubber is smoother. I remember I bought my Gorillapod for Php 1,400 before.
