You’ll definitely learn a lot from traveling! 😀
]]>just a travel rookie here, but my sense of adventure and my itchy feet always keep me awake at night, planning itineraries of travels that are 6months ahead. What a great post, insightful and personal. 🙂 I hope to learn more lessons too, in my future trips. More power! Keep writing. 🙂
]]>Traveling has made me appreciate the simple things in life. Things that I tend to take for granted back home, you know the basic things in life.
More so, my travel gives me the opportunities to be “ME”, beyond what other people think I could not possibly do.
Cheers to our “ITCHY FEET”!
]]>seriously, thanks for being an inspiration to Filipinas! I’ll always look up to you. =)
]]>There are two phases in which traveling changed me. When I was single and traveling with my fiance, it taught me culture and independence (esp. from my parents!). Now that we are married and have a son, traveling is our way out from our chaotic world at work and home. When we travel, we are carefree ~ my husband and I become our son’s brother and sister. We learn together and play together. We rest (thus I have clearer skin after a vacation ;p). Really, people should travel more ~ they’ll see that they will be more productive if they take the timeout. 🙂
]]>It taught me patience, endure every kind of transportation, appreciate what’s available, be street smart, to decide important things at a snap of a finger, to pack only what’s needed, to be a cowboy(eat whatever is available even in the most unsanitary way! haha)
It also taught me to be understanding to the different cultures in the country and respect it, it is fun learning what they do that seems taboo to me.
But yeah! I think traveling has made me a better person now!
]]>Here’s to more learning on the road! 😉
