I either go to their office to buy insurance (you can pay in either peso or dollar), but sometimes if I go through certain agents, I pay via bank deposit.

]]>I also highly recommend going up to Koya-san, which is an hour and a half away from Osaka. You can opt to stay at a “temple lodging” and walk around Okuin cemetery at night. The train lumbering up the mountain and the scenery is an experience.
Tokyo is cool but I think its a bit overrated and expensive. When you go down south, you see a very Japanese Japan. Not too many visitors as compared to Tokyo. The people are friendlier and the food fantastic.
P.S. If you want cheap bentos, go to any supermarket near closing time and sometimes, there are very nice bentos and sushi plates at half the original price.
