Fold it with Muji

This is an advertorial

When you travel with a backpack, you become more conscious of what you put in your bag. It’s not just the space that matters – weight plays a big role, because you have to haul that bag on your back! I’ve gotten quite adept in packing light, though I’m still prone to overpacking (and over shopping!).  My rule is, if it’s bulky, best to leave it at home. If you really must have it with you, wear it.

Muji Foldable Backpack and Flats

In trips when I want to bring jeans, I make sure I’m wearing them in transit, so I don’t have to worry about how it’s going to fit in my backpack. Same goes for sneakers, rubber shoes and boots. While it’s easy to do away with jeans when traveling in the tropics, comfortable shoes with good soles are very important to bring, specially if you plan to do a lot of walking. Flats and flip flops are cute, but they might not be doing your feet any favors in the long run if you wear them the whole day.

Muji has these foldable sneakers, that I have to admit is very interesting. It comes in white or black, very lightweight and easy to pack since it fold and comes with its own pouch. It’s designed for long walks, so you can rest easy that your feet will be taken care of.

In the evening, ladies can wear the Muji foldable flats that can easily fit in your day pack. Wear it when you need something a little dressy, or when you want something more comfortable to walk in after wearing heels. It comes in three colors, white, beige, and black.

Other compact and foldable items in Muji’s travel essentials are the foldable rucksack (perfect for bringing home souvenirs that can’t fit in your bag anymore), foldable nylon shopping bags, and mobile speakers.
