If you are able to get Php1 fares for both flights, price of the ticket with taxes amount to Php 1,699.04. I thought of buying a couple of tickets for my mother and maybe her sister, but it comes out more expensive than going by bus.

\nGranted that the flight only takes an hour, whereas taking the bus eats up about 14 hours of your life, the bus still comes out cheaper. See, my mom is a notorious overpacker. She’s so much worse at it than I am. Whenever she comes home from Bulusan, she brings one box of pili, one ice chest of fish, one box of bananas, one basket of veggies, one big bag of clothes, etcetera, etcetera. Whatever time and money you save on that plane ride will be spent on excess baggage charges. Plus, Bulusan (my parent’s hometown) is still 5 hours away from Legaspi, so yeah…it’s as stressful as riding a bus for 14 straight hours.<\/p>\n
