We’re currently here in our hotel room in Cagayan de Oro, but earlier today, we spent the day in Malaybalay, Bukidnon for the Kaamulan Festival.<\/p>\n

\nWe arrived on the first flight out of Manila to CDO, and it took us a while before heading out to Bukidnon. We got there just as the 7th and last tribe was performing.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, we were able to see the spectacular costumes, elaborate floats and hear the heart pounding music. It was a shame that we missed most of the performances, but we have seen enough to know that we should come back next year.<\/p>\n
