Well, no. :P
I went to ClickTheCity.com to look for movies showing currently, when an article about Manila walking tours caught my eye. Having joined one recently, and interested in joining another, I clicked on the link to read the full article.
It featured two guides: Carlos Celdran and Ivan ManDy. The article started of with Carlos, and when it shifted to Ivan, I leaned forward eagerly, since his Big Binondo Food Wok was the one I took last July.
Then, I saw this picture:

In the typical Nina fashion, I went “Oh hey! That’s xxxx! (The woman in the white sleeveless top and denim shorts) We were in the same tour together!” It was only then that I realized, I was standing beside xxxx in the picture. Ah, priceless.
The complete article, authored by my friend Vic (whose byline I overlooked, doh) over at ClickTheCity.com’s Metro section.

Awesome—you’re on TV!
I’d love to go on those walking tours of Manila, especially around the historic areas. Looking at the picture, it looks like it’s a fairly big group!
…I can’t tell what you’re doing in the photo. Are you taking a picture?
Haha, I was eating! It was the most delicious pan fried siopao I’ve ever tasted (well, the only pan fried siopao I’ve ever tasted).
If you’re in Manila, this tour is a definite must-do! I’ll post more about the tour later (damn, I still have a shitload of posts about Singaproe and Thailand to post. Oh well, at least I have entries to post when I’m stuck at home)
OMG pan fried siopao…I’ve never tasted it, but it sounds delicious!!!
What are the chances??
If I were you, I’d print out that article and frame it up next to my computer!
That’s so cool! BTW, nice site, I dno’t know why I hadn’t seen this before.
Will definitely be coming back.
Donn: Haha! I think this post is enough to commemorate this.
Christine: Hey, fellow bootie! Thanks
I’m actually sooo delinquent in updating this..I have tons of entries that still need to be posted! Anyway, I couldn’t wait to try your recipes!
