More naked tourists

Okay, why is it that tourists feel more inclined to strip off their clothes in public while on vacation?

BELGRADE, Serbia – Two Austrians and a German were fined for cycling naked along the banks of the River Danube in Serbia where a heat wave has sent temperatures soaring.

Temperatures in Serbia and other parts of the Balkans have hovered stubbornly for the past week at around 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit).

It’s baffling, simply baffling.

My guess is that it has to do with the fact that the only people who see them are people they will (probably!) never ever encounter again, so they don’t have to worry about what an impression they make.

    Too much heat?!! Nah

probably the excitement of getting naked in pulic lured them and adding the fact that they are tourist, not many or no people really know them in the area.

There is the FKK in Germany and Austria (translates into Free Body Culture) where nude bicycling, hiking, etc–while not common—is not all that uncommon either. It is usually reserved for certain areas, though. But the Austrians and Germans appear always quite keen to peel their clothes off.

Before you post...

I read all comments posted here, but sometimes I do not have the time nor energy to answer each one. I try to answer all the questions that have been posted, but if your question have been answered in the post or in the articles linked from the post, I will ignore you. So please read the post in its entirety before posting something. Once again, I reiterate that I am not affiliated with any hotel, embassy or company that have been featured in this blog unless otherwise stated. Also, posting your e-mail address and mobile number for the world to see? Bad idea.
