Air Asia Free Seats to Bangkok

We all know the riots in Bangkok. A lot of us who had plans to visit the Thai capital have either canceled their trip, or are still praying that things turn for the better soon. Things seem to be going back to normal in BKK, and to help boost Thailand’s tourism, which was hit hard by the riots, Air Asia is giving out 10,000 free seats to Bangkok from ASEAN countries and China.

Air Asia Bangkok Zero Fare

The sale started at midnight, and unlike other Air Asia sales wherein the site is painfully slow the first few hours of the sale, the servers earlier were surprisingly fast. Seems like people are still hesitant to go to Bangkok.

Wei and I were talking about the sale, and he told me about this awesome site that lets you easily find the lowest fare available on Airasia.com: www.flyous.com. The tool is very easy to use too — just select your origin and destination from the drop down box, and select whether it’s for a round trip or one-way flight. The site will go through all of Air Asia’s available flights for those destinations. Pretty nifty eh? No need to go through each date to find a zero fare! Now I wonder, do they also get bogged down when Air Asia has their massive sale?

  1. During sales period, you have to act fast. My advise to book immediately, if you wait for midnite with assumptions that the traffic is low, the tickets might be sold out.

Before you post...

I read all comments posted here, but sometimes I do not have the time nor energy to answer each one. I try to answer all the questions that have been posted, but if your question have been answered in the post or in the articles linked from the post, I will ignore you. So please read the post in its entirety before posting something. Once again, I reiterate that I am not affiliated with any hotel, embassy or company that have been featured in this blog unless otherwise stated. Also, posting your e-mail address and mobile number for the world to see? Bad idea.
