Wikipedia states that Aït Benhaddou is a “‘fortified city’, or ksar, along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in present-day Morocco.” It’s where Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy and Gladiator was filmed. It’s also inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
